BISHOP ALFRED L. RINGER

    Bishop Alfred L. Ringer was born in Rome, Georgia. He graduated from the Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1973, and chose to continue his education as a student at the University of Dayton, as well as a religion major at Faith Bible Institute. Bishop Ringer answered the call of God and began ministry in June 1982. Bishop Ringer was an ordained Elder for twenty-three years and held various positions throughout those years and he is also the founder of the Bronis Lee Ringer Scholarship Fund. He was consecrated and elevated to the office of Bishop by the order of the Bishops of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, June 23, 2006, Bishop Sherman S. Watkins Prelate, and Bishop T.D. Jakes Vice-Prelate. Bishop Ringer has been appointed to preside over the Midwest dioceses which include Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Canada.


    Bishop Ringer is retired from Delphi of twenty-nine years where he served as chaplain. Bishop Ringer is currently a member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce and he continues to assist his father, Dr Eugene Ringer of Faith Temple P.C.O.G. Bishop Ringer has been the recipient of numerous degrees and awards. He is a man of great character, integrity and vision. He is one who has the ability to accomplish goals with a spirit of excellence. He is committed to preaching the uncompromising Gospel of Jesus Christ to a diverse group of believers from all walks of life. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit Bishop Ringer is able to help people discover their God-given purpose and change lives all across America. He is known for his cutting- edge delivery of God's word. He is a minister that deals with real-life issues and with God's help, Bishop Ringer will continue to impact this generation by actively seeking to aid in the salvation of the lost, meeting the various needs of the community and most importantly, changing lives for eternity. Bishop Alfred L. Ringer has been married for twenty-nine years to Lenora; they have two children: Jerell and Jaree.
